Scientific inquiry always begins with a question that you really want to know the answer to. Good questions become a framework for deepening understanding and defining problems.

In this lesson, students will interview an organism and see how questions deepen their understanding about that organism. Often one question leads to another and then another, ultimately helping us to, not only see that organism more clearly, but understand better how it relates to its world.

How can simple questions along with careful observation help your students better understand their world?
